Worcester Cathedral

The Cathedral was founded in 680 by Bishop Bosel. St Wulfstan (1008-1095) who was Bishop under two Saxon Kings and the first two Norman Kings was responsible for the dismantling of the old Saxon cathedral and building the new one
King John born Christmas Eve 1166. His reign began 1199. Most famous for  agreeing to the Magna Carta. Visited the cathedral many times and upon his death in 1216, requested that he be buried in the cathedral.His tomb is on of the many important personages buried in the cathedral
